Recent reports allege that the much-loved actor, Prakash Raj, has left Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. The actor was cited as one of the most pivotal presences in the film, and his voice in the launch video had already created significant buzz around his character. However, reports from OTTPlay allege that the actor might no longer be a part of the film. The buzz started on the morning of February 9, 2026, with many claiming that Prakash Raj has been removed from the film.

At the moment, shooting of the film is underway in Hyderabad. The report said that Prakash Raj’s exit came after a heated disagreement with the film’s director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, on the sets over the script and a particular scene, which eventually led the actor to leave the film. The report claimed that the makers were unhappy with Prakash’s behaviour in several incidents, which led them to make the decision. The source was quoted as saying:

“It is also being said that Prakash Raj’s behaviour during a few instances did not go down well with the makers, prompting them to take the drastic decision of removing him from the film. As of now, there is no official confirmation, but the news is spreading rapidly in film circles.”

However, while there hasn’t been any confirmation about the actor’s exit, the buzz has created an intense shock wave. Reports further claimed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga had already shot a few scenes with Paraksh Raj. Unfortunately, they might have to “be scrapped, potentially leading to delays in the shoot.” Neither the makers nor the actor has responded to the report so far.

However, things between the makers and the Piku actress didn’t work out, and the role eventually went to Triptii Dimri. It was reported that Deepika stepped away due to scheduling conflicts with the director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

On January 1, 2026, the makers of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit unveiled the first look poster of the highly anticipated film, starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. The poster showed Prabhas with long hair and a rugged look, standing shirtless with his back to the camera. His body is marked with bruises and wrapped in multiple bandages across his shoulder, arm, and back. By his side, Triptii, dressed in a simple saree, is seen lighting his cigarette. According to reports, the film will also star Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana. It is believed that Prabhas will play a cop, while Triptii will play his love interest in the film. Earlier this month, the film’s producer, T-series, announced it would be released on March 5, 2027.
