Mock drafts are coming in, and rumors are circling, with projections from the betting and trading markets giving a clear picture of who the Jets are expected to take in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Arvell Reese is projected to be the No. 2 overall pick, according to the trading markets at Polymarket and Kalshi, each of which has the Ohio State linebacker favored to be the Jets’ pick when the clock strikes zero, and they need to turn in a card.
Kalshi has Reese at 65 percent likely to be taken No. 2 overall, a pick currently held by the Jets, while Polymarket has an even more aggressive projection at 75 percent.
The odds have shot up a bit on Tuesday, moving up four percent as multiple mock drafters projected the Jets will select Reese.
Mel Kiper Jr.’s most recent mock draft has the Jets taking Reese No. 2 overall, as does Daniel Jeremiah.
Although there could be value in the Jets’ secondary option at No. 2 overall, which most pundits believe is David Bailey, the Texas Tech EDGE rusher.
The Post’s Brian Costello’s most recent mock draft has the Jets taking Bailey No. 2 overall, an opinion that is shared by ESPN reporter Peter Schrager.
Schrager has the Jets taking Bailey No. 2 overall in a move that certainly will raise some eyebrows as we get closer to the draft on April 27.
