Prince Harry’s former girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, took to Instagram on Mother’s Day to reveal she has welcomed her third child with husband Sam Cutmore-Scott
Prince Harry’s former girlfriend has revealed she has welcomed her third child in a surprise announcement. Chelsy Davy, 40, took to Instagram on Mother’s Day to share that she had given birth to a boy last week – and revealed that he had been named Finn.
The former lawyer turned jewellery company founder posted a series of snaps of her cradling her newborn alongside her two other children, Leo and Chloe, on both her page and that of her firm Aya Jewellery. Referencing Mother’s Day, she wrote: “This year feels especially meaningful for me as we welcome our little boy, Finn, who arrived last week.

“Returning to those hazy newborn days has been a beautiful reminder of just how remarkable mothers are – and of the many ways we each balance family, work and everything in between.
“Running Aya alongside raising Finn, Chloe and Leo is a juggle, but it’s one I’ve chosen. And one of the wonderful things about the world we live in today is that many of us have that freedom – to shape our lives in the way that feels right, whether that includes motherhood, a career, creativity, or something entirely different.
“This Mother’s Day, I’m embracing the juggle I’ve chosen – and celebrating all of you embracing yours. Wishing you a very happy Mother’s Day. Chelsy x.”
Chelsy welcomed her oldest son, Leo, back in 2022 with her Eton-educated husband Sam Cutmore-Scott. In September 2024, they then had their daughter Chloe.
Chelsy is one of Harry’s most well-known former girlfriends, with the pair’s on-off romance lasting from 2004 to 2011. The couple met when Zimbabwean-born Chelsy when she was a boarder at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, and she later studied law at Leeds University.
Chelsy was pictured at many high-profile events with Harry, from polo matches to society weddings – and even met King Charles and the late Queen.
However, it is said she struggled to deal with the royal spotlight, and it was the Prince and Princess of Wales ‘ extravagant wedding that proved to her for the final time that it wasn’t the life she wanted.
However, Chelsy attended Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018 and after ditching a career in law, is now a jewellery designer.
She married her husband, Sam, in secret in 2022. He is the brother of Jack Cutmore-Scott – an actor who starred in the Oscar-winning film Tenet and drama series, Deception. Sam is a hotelier and he, Chelsy and their family are believed to split their time between Chiswick, West London and Norfolk.
