Priscilla Presley breaks silence on John Travolta paternity row

Priscilla Presley has hit out at a “shameful” claim that her granddaughter Riley Keough is the biological mother of John Travolta’s 15-year-old son Benjamin.

The Grease actor shared Benjamin with late wife Kelly Preston, who died in July 2020.

The claim was part of a lawsuit filed by Priscilla’s former business partner Brigitte Kruse amid their bitter legal battle over finances. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Brigitte alleges that Michael Lockwood – the ex-husband of Riley’s mom Lisa Marie Presley – had told her the actress gave one of her eggs to John and Kelly in exchange for an old Jaguar car and up to $20,000.

In a furious rebuttal, Priscilla’s lawyers said that “Brigitte and her co-conspirators have demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to cause further pain to Priscilla Presley and her family.

“These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case,” they fired.

Priscilla’s team branded the DNA claims ‘shameful’ and vowed they would be disproved in court.

According to Kruse’s lawsuit, Presley family tensions intensified after Elvis and Priscilla daughter Lisa Marie died in 2023.

It states that “the entire Presley family clamoured for control of the estate and for pay-outs” with Lisa Marie’s ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, among those involved. Lockwood, 61, is alleged to have told Priscilla’s ex business partner Kruse “that John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, had been unable to bear her own children, and Travolta and Presley previously used Lisa Marie’s eggs to get pregnant”.

It continues: “Lockwood claimed that Travolta needed to help salvage his career amid claims of sexual assault against other men, which threatened his career as a leading man.”

.The filing alleges that Lisa Marie Presley previously donated eggs so actor Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston could “get pregnant”.

The document adds: “Lockwood claimed that Travolta said he no longer wanted to use Lisa Marie’s eggs because they did not want ‘eggs with heroin’ on them,” referring to her opioid addiction, “and they orchestrated a deal, where Riley Keough gave her eggs to Travolta, so that Kelly could give birth to their son, Ben Travolta.”

The complaint also states that the agreement “required a ‘sign off’ from the Church of Scientology, which heavily involved Priscilla’s oversight.”
