Private sector makes full-scale efforts to prevent damage to economy

TEHRAN- The Secretary General of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said: “Despite the damages caused by the aggression of the U.S. and the Israeli regime against our country, producers and industrialists are striving with all their might to ensure no disruption occurs in economic activities.”

Abolfazl Roghani Golpayegani, in an interview with IRNA, analyzing the current state of the country’s economy following the war, responded: “Despite serious vulnerabilities, producers and industrialists are trying with all their might to prevent any disruption in economic activities.”

In response to a question about the state of the country’s economy and what measures should be taken, he referred to the ominous and reprehensible nature of war, saying: “Attacks on transportation, causing problems in the supply chain, and pressure on industry due to heavy airstrikes are painful realities. But fortunately, due to past experiences in overcoming numerous crises, Iran has high resilience, and our producers are pushing forward with their efforts.”

The Secretary General of the Iran Chamber continued: “The Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Head, members of the Board of Directors, the boards of provincial chambers, and all trade unions, has entered the arena with full force to prevent any problems for the people. As officers of the country’s economy, it is our duty to continue production and service delivery while maintaining quality and without harming economic activities.”

The Secretary General of the Iran Chamber added: “I hope that peace will soon return to the country and the people will live in tranquility. Iran has been tested in difficult situations, and we are trying, even if these conditions become long-term, not to cause any harm to the people. The private and semi-public sectors are also working with all their might to provide better days for the people, and we hope that this ominous phenomenon will end as soon as possible.”
