Nicole, Ashley and Kimberly have reunited – five years after their original reunion was brutally axed without prior discussions with each band member.
This time around, Jessica, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton are not part of the band. As the reunion was teased on social media, Jessica instantly took to Instagram and re-shared a quote on her story, and tagged her pal and former bandmate, Carmit.
The quote read: “F**k Off. (Phr.) When you say it backwards, it’s still the same but in a British accent,” alongside the caption “@therealcarmit lol”.

Suggesting that her Buttons had been pressed, Jessica later re-shared another quote, reading: “It’s all about who stands in the rain with you, when they also have a choice to be dry. Remember that.”
Today, the band returned with their latest single, Club Song, months after the Mirror revealed that Kimberly Wyatt was the driving force behind their reunuion. However, Kimberly admitted that the reunion faced obstacles, and it was difficult to get all five women on the same page.

We’re in a place now where women need to support women and come together to create something really beautiful. I’ve always felt like maybe that could happen.”

But it’s not just the Dolls’ chart success which Kimberly is proud of; instead, it was the decade of hard work to prove themselves, often performing at bars in Los Angeles. “With the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, there’s just so many people that would come and be a part of the dolls,” she gushed.
She added: “I mean, starting at The Viper Room with Johnny Depp – I would love to tell that story, it’s the best of the Noughties, right there on Sunset Strip in LA, so we’ll see.”
