Maybe, had this been a normal WNBA offseason, her future would be more officially defined by now. But everything as it pertains to the WNBA’s 2026 season remains in limbo until a new collective bargaining agreement is agreed upon.
The WNBA season is slated to start May 8, with training camps opening April 19. But a new CBA has to be agreed to by March 10 in order for the season to start on time, and the league and players union remain far apart on key issues, including revenue sharing and housing.
The offseason — from the two-team expansion draft to one of the largest free-agent frenzies in league history — remains on pause until further notice.
