Crowds reportedly blocked parts of the street as Rod moved between luxury boutiques, smiling, waving and soaking up the attention from his loyal admirers.
Rod and wife Penny Lancaster, 54, were spotted shopping separately before later meeting up at Dolce & Gabbana. Penny was first seen outside Celine and Loewe, where the couple’s two cars were parked, before heading into Ralph Lauren with her son Aiden and a woman believed to be his nanny.
Meanwhile, Rod was seen browsing at Etro alongside a woman thought to be his personal assistant, later leaving the store with purchases carried in an Etro bag.
The couple reunited at Dolce & Gabbana, where a sizeable crowd quickly formed to spot the rock icon. Rod cut a stylish figure in a matching patterned jacket and tight leggings, accessorised with a large gold crucifix that caught Penny’s eye as she stopped to take a closer look.
