The menu for Rory McIlroy’s first-ever Masters Champions dinner was unveiled Wednesday, roughly one month before the Northern Irishman, 36, will defend his title in the first major of the season at Augusta National.
The dinner, served in honor of the most recent Masters champion, will feature an array of appetizers, including peach and ricotta flatbread, rock shrimp tempura, bacon-wrapped dates and grilled elk sliders.
Along with the choice of wagyu filet mignon or seared salmon, yellowfin tuna carpaccio will also be served, which happens to be a favorite of McIlroy’s and his biggest supporter.
“My wife, Erica and I, our favorite restaurant, or one of our favorite right now is in New York. It’s called Le Bernardin. Eric Ripert is the chef there, and this is a dish from that restaurant. It’s a yellowfin tuna carpaccio. It’s a really thin slice of French baguette with a really thin slight of foie gras on top of that … So that’s a fun one that the club worked with me on as well. They went up to the restaurant and worked with the chefs, and made sure; that they obviously wanted to get it right for the night, so that’s really cool,” he said, according to the PGA Tour.
The meal will conclude with a dessert of sticky toffee pudding.
McIlroy, the world’s No. 2-ranked golfer, delivered one of the most memorable Masters finishes last April when he edged out Justin Rose in a one-hole playoff to become the sixth golfer to ever complete the sport’s Grand Slam.
The triumph on the 18th also marked McIlroy’s first major championship in 11 years.
“There were points in my career where I didn’t know if I would have this nice garment over my shoulders,’’ McIlroy said on his green jacket last April. “I certainly didn’t make it easy. I was nervous. It was one of the toughest days I’ve ever had on the golf course.”
McIlroy celebrated his Masters milestone with 5-year-old daughter Poppy and wife Erica Stoll — less than a year after the couple’s shock divorce reversal.
They have been married since 2017.
McIlrory’s menu was unveiled days after his Players Championship defense in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., fell short after he finished tied for 46th at even-par.
The 2025 Players champion had withdrawn from the Arnold Palmer Invitational a week prior due to a back injury.

The 2026 Masters runs from April 9-12.
