Saquon Barkley isn’t Superman right now — but Giants can’t afford to underestimate him

Superman has come back down to earth, but the Giants know better than to tug on Saquon Barkley’s cape come Sunday at the Linc.

“Every time that he sees the Giants, he will always be motivated, I promise you that,” Rakeem Nunez-Roches told The Post. “He doesn’t need any more extra motivation beyond the stuff y’all seen on ‘Hard Knocks’ and all the previous years that he’s been here. He’s already motivated.”

The first time Barkley faced his former team was last October, when he returned triumphantly to MetLife Stadium with a 176-yard, one-touchdown assault with two receptions in a 28-3 Eagles win.

“He’ll probably be motivated every time he plays the Giants,” Brian Burns told The Post. “S–t, I would be if I was him.”
