Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who fell in love while shooting for a television serial, have come a long way. While Sargun is hailed as Punjab’s superstar, Ravi made his presence felt with his diverse roles on television, and now, he is all set to make name with his performance as ‘Laxman’ in Ramayan featuring Ranbir Kapoor. Amidst it, a report claims that Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are all set to welcome their first child.

Are Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta expecting their first child?

If reports are to be believed, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are all set to welcome their first child after 12 years of marriage. The reports have been shared by Telly Creats. However, the couple has not made any official announcement about the same. Also, it is worth noting that BollywoodShaadis cannot verify the truth behind the post. It can be just a buzz, but so far, Sargun’s name has never been dragged into any pregnancy rumours. Also, the couple likes to keep their personal life private, so it might be that they won’t share much about the news, if it is true.

It is worth mentioning that an earlier report by MoneyControl claimed that Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta might be expecting their first child. The claims around their pregnancy started when the power couple appeared on the reality show, Bigg Boss 19, to promote their new show, Juliet Jatt Di. Soon after their appearance, Ravi and Sargun were spotted together outside a hospital, and it was enough for many to wonder if they were expecting their first child. It is worth mentioning that these are only rumours and there has been no official confirmation of it. 

When Sargun Mehta talked about her family planning

Sargun knows how to stop the murmurs around her pregnancy in style. Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the Saunkan Saukne actress opened up about her pregnancy. The actress clearly stated that there are more important things than pregnancy. Sargun also added that she is still trying her best to make a mark in the industry. She was quoted as saying:

“It’s like that’s the only thing you expect out of a couple. It’s putting down the entire institution of marriage, if that’s the only thing we’re supposed to do. I’m not saying that anybody who is getting pregnant or wants to have a baby is wrong. People have different priorities and goals in life. Some people achieve when they’re 25, some achieve it when they’re 40. Only when you feel that you’re satisfied with what you want to do in life, can you move ahead and give somebody else happiness. It’s not something you can do while you’re still struggling or clawing to be someone. I am on a different journey at the moment.”

Not only this, when an interviewer kept asking her about her baby planning as people wanted to know, Sargun got extremely irritated. The interviewer said, “Janta ka yeh sawal hai baccho ka kya plan hai itne saal ho gaye wait karte karte, mai bhi bada hogya apko dekhte dekhte.” However, Sargun looked irritated and said:

“But yeh sawal ka tum logo se kya lena dena ya fir janta ko bhi kya lena dena.”

However, the interviewer didn’t stop there and asked her again about what are her thoughts on kids. Sargun replied that whenever they feel like it is the right time to move into the phase, they will, and right now isn’t. The host further asked, “Fir bhi aisa kab.” To this, Sargun looked uncomfortable and said:

“Nai aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Nai. I don’t know.”
