Savannah Guthrie Reacts To Nancy’s Kidnap Amid Annie And Tommaso Grabbing Attention, ‘My Sister…’

Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie has been missing since January 31, 2026. She was last spotted at her home, and it was on February 1, 2026, when a missing report was lodged. The investigation has been ongoing, and amid this, two ransom notes were discovered. A huge sum of USD 6 million in Bitcoin has been demanded for Nancy’s safe return, and the deadline recently passed. While Nancy’s kids promised to pay the amount, they wanted to be reassured first that their mother was actually with the alleged sender.

Annie Guthrie, Savannah’s elder sister, and her husband, Tommaso Ciony, have been grabbing much attention. It so happened that Ashleigh Banfield, a NewsNation journalist, claimed that the latter was a suspect. This claim instantly shifted people’s attention to Tommaso and Annie.

However, amid this, Savannah released a new statement. In a new video, Today host thanked everyone who prayed for their mother’s well-being. She mentioned that her sister, Annie, and brother, Camron, are also thankful for the well-wishes that they are getting. She said:

“I just want to say first of all, thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt — my sister, my brother and I. And that our mom has felt. Because we believe that somehow, someway, she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her in this moment and in this darkest place.”

Savannah, in the video, asked people to help while adding that they are at an hour of desperation, and thus need help. Savannah Guthrie also revealed that all of them believe that their mom is still out there, while mentioning that the investigators are working tirelessly to find Nancy Guthrie. She asked people to report directly to the investigators if there are any leads. Savannah said:

“We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don’t know where. And we need your help. I’m coming on just to ask you, not just for your prayers but no matter where you are — even if you’re far from Tucson — if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help.”
