Sharon Osbourne Decides To Move Part-Time To The US Citing Loneliness And Family Ties

Sharon Osbourne is a well-known face on television. The 73-year-old has been a part of different shows since 1979. She was married to Black Sabbath co-founder, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22, 2025. Sharon has also established a talent management company called Sharon Osbourne Management. She made her television debut in 1996 with a show titled Rock Wives. Sharon later gained recognition for her appearances on The Osbournes from 2002.

Sharon Osbourne has been a judge on The X Factor and an announcer on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. She was also a judge for five seasons of America’s Got Talent and co-hosted WWE Raw with Ozzy Osbourne in 2009. Apart from these, Sharon has been featured on other shows like Family Guy, Supergirl, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lucifer, and more. Meanwhile, Sharon has created headlines as multiple reports have claimed that she is moving part-time to the US.

As mentioned, Sharon Osbourne lost her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025. The news arrived a few days after the benefit concert of Black Sabbath, Back to the Beginning, held on July 5, 2025. Ozzy’s funeral was held on July 30, 2025, and his sudden demise led to multiple tributes from popular faces on social media and other platforms. The Daily Mail stated that Ozzy is buried in the grounds of Welders House, which was bought by Ozzy and Sharon in 1993.

Ozzy and Sharon shared three children, Aimee, Jack, and Kelly. The trio has already returned to their homes in Los Angeles, and Sharon was also in the place to celebrate Christmas with her children. Sharon’s latest decision to move to the US has emerged from her plans to spend equal time at her house in the UK and an apartment in Los Angeles. An insider claimed that Sharon might shift permanently to the US in the next few years.

Sharon Osbourne has five grandchildren. Sources have claimed that Sharon wants to be with the kids as much as possible. Moreover, Sharon and Ozzy were residents of Los Angeles for around 20 years. The city holds a special place in the life of Sharon, as she had worked on the show The X Factor. The entire network of the reality series is located in Los Angeles. During her time on the show, Sharon had an opportunity to collaborate with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

The property purchased by Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne in 1993 was listed for sale at USD 18 million when the latter started battling his health issues. Ozzy had reportedly expressed his desire to die in England in the past. Before his demise, Sharon made some necessary changes to their residence in the UK, ensuring that it fits the needs of Ozzy.

Ozzy Osbourne was a part of Black Sabbath for a long time. The band was originally named Rare Breed when it was formed back in 1967, and Ozzy was approached by Geezer Butler to join the group. Ozzy contributed to nine big projects released by the band, starting with their self-titled debut album in 1970. This was followed by Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and more. All the albums managed to remain on top of the charts for a long time.

In 1980, Ozzy Osbourne started pursuing a career as a solo artist. His first solo album was Blizzard of Ozz, which took the 21st spot on the US Billboard 200.
