Sharon Osbourne is in mourning again. The star took to Instagram to share that her “darling boy” Elvis, her dog, has died after 14 years together.

This comes just months after the death of her rockstar husband Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July of this year. Posting pictures of herself with Elvis the dog, Sharon wrote: “I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!”

In Sharon’s post, she uploaded four pictures of her dog, a pomsky – a cross between pomeranians and Siberian huskies. In the first photo, Sharon is staring lovingly at Elvis as he puts his paws up on a table. In the second, he is in a personalised dog bed next to her as she appears on a talk show. The last two show Elvis with Ozzy, first as the late Black Sabbath frontman laughs and then lying on his chest.

Fans jumped in the comments to send their condolences to Sharon. One wrote: “Oh no, I’m so sorry for your loss. He’s with Ozzy now, they will both continue to watch over you.”

Another wrote: “This poor woman has been through it all lately.” While a third said: “Ozzy needed a little bit of you with him. So sorry for your loss xxx”

Sharon was married to Ozzy from 1982 until his death in July. They had three children together, Kelly, Aimee and Jack. While the former X Factor judge has taken a step back from public life to grieve, her son, Jack, admitted his mother is “not okay” recently.

“She’s just trying to figure out where to go from here, how to navigate, what’s the new norm, what’s the new baseline, ‘What do I do without my person?'” he shared. “But she’s got a lot of love and support around her.”
