Shehbaz Badesha Faces Backlash For Using Sidharth Shukla’s Name In ‘Bigg Boss 19’, ‘Joker Says..’

Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan has always been one of the most favourite reality shows of the viewers. While there have been 19 seasons, Bigg Boss 13 still remains as one of the most talked-about seasons of the show, majorly because of late actor, Sidharth Shukla. Now, in the recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, wildcard entry, Shehbaz Badesha used the late actor’s name to show his popularity.

Recently, a video clip of Bigg Boss 19 went viral on social media platforms, which featured Shehnaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz. The wildcard contestant was seen talking to musician, Amaal Mallik, during which he shared that he wants to be nominated to get the feel of it. He further continued to say that the fans of Sidharth Shukla are standing in support of him. He was quoted as saying:

“Main bhi ek baar nomination mein aake dekhna chahta hu ki kya hota hai mere saath. Baithe hai phir Sidharth ke fans bhi mere saath. Logo ko lagta nahi hai, lekin jo winner hai na is show ka, mere saath fan following baithi hai uski.”

As soon as the video clip went viral on Instagram, a lot of users and fans of Sidharth Shukla flooded the comment section with their thoughts on Shehbaz using the actor’s name. While some users trolled Shehbaz Badesha for his overconfidence, others challenged him to come in nominations. One user commented, “When joker says I am legend.” Another user wrote, “Kuch jyada hi nahi bol gaya.” A third user penned, “Challenge accepted aa fir to nomination mein btate hn.” Another user commented, “Sidharth shukla hota to isko khud jake wahase nikal deta.”

Shehbaz Badesha’s bond with Sidharth Shukla goes back to the relationship between Shehnaz and Sidharth. The two who met as contestants on Bigg Boss 13 became the fan-favourite jodi. Together they were called ‘SidNaaz’. After Sidharth Shukla’s tragic death, Shehnaz’s brother, Shehbaz often spoke warmly about the late actor. Shehbaz even gave the Balika Vadhu actor a heartfelt tribute by getting the late actor’s face inked on his arm.
