Delhi family court has ordered former Indian cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan’s ex-wife, Ayesha Mukerji, to return Rs 5.7 crore. For the unversed, Ayesha received an Australian property settlement ruling that the agreement was obtained through threats and fraud. According to Bar and Bench, it was Judge Devender Kumar Garg of the Patiala House Court who declared all settlement documents null and void.

The judge found that Shikhar Dhawan had signed the agreements under threats, extortion, trickery, and fraudulent conduct. The court also directed Ayesha Mukerji to pay 9 per cent annual interest on the amount. The court has ordered Ayesha to pay interest from the date on which Dhawan filed the case.
