Reflecting on his win, Shiv shared with the media that the reality show was a completely new experience for him. Shiv added that the win made him incredibly happy. He was quoted as saying:

“The 50 was a completely new experience for me, and I wanted to show a different side of Shiv Thakare, one that believes you don’t need to shout or fight to be heard. Shiv Thakare was born on September 9, 1989, in Amravati, Maharashtra. By profession, he is a dancer and choreographer. He rose to fame with the show, Roadies Rising. He also appeared on the show, Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, and became the winner. He was featured in the show, Bigg Boss 16.

Earlier, in January 2026, Shiv made headlines after a snap from a mandap, where he was seen posing with a mystery girl, went viral on social media. While many assumed it was a real marriage, Shiv dismissed the rumours. Speaking to Zoom, Shiv clarified that it was a prank. He was quoted as saying:

“Dekho keeda hota hai andar aapka mazak aur masti karneka. It happens between my friends, and I do it less on social media. I left the shoot in the same outfit because I had to reach Mumbai from Alibaug. I was going to change in the car. But I didn’t change. I did video calls. And my prank worked on 2-3 people.”
