Earlier, in January 2026, Shiv made headlines after a snap from a mandap, where he was seen posing with a mystery girl, went viral on social media. While many assumed it was a real marriage, Shiv dismissed the rumours. Speaking to Zoom, Shiv clarified that it was a prank. He was quoted as saying:
