An Australian Home and Away star has given birth to a baby daughter with her Netflix TV producer husband and announced the news with a gorgeous photograph of the new arrival
A former Home and Away actress has given birth to her first daughter with her producer husband, describing the tiny tot as a “slice of heaven”. Demi Harman, 33, played Sasha Bezmel in the Australian soap from 2011 to 2015, and was a contestant on the first series of Celebrity Splash!, before relocating and building a successful TV career in the US.
She announced the happy news on her Instagram page with a gorgeous black-and-white photo, and captioned it with: “Meet Florence Mae Brooks. She arrived early measuring 21.5 inches long and weighing 9lbs10.2oz. She’s sleepy, sassy and everything we wanted in our girl. Can’t imagine the world without this slice of heaven!”.

Demi, who also played Riley Hart in the TV drama Winners & Losers, is already mum to Beau Thomas Brooks, born in 2023, who she shares with her Nobody Wants This producer husband Andrew Brooks. The met couple in the US and announced their engagement in summer 2019 before tying the knot in January 2022, in California.
The Brisbane-born actress announced her second pregnancy in July, posting a funny video with a voiceover from a viral “I have a secret to tell you” clip from Love Island USA, which features an Islander telling a potential love interest that she has a daughter outside the villa.
Showing off her bare baby bump bump, Demi lip-synced: “I have a secret to tell you. All the girls know, Jeremiah knows, but you have to promise me you’re not going to say anything to other guys ’cause it’s not their business. But, I’m a mommy.”
Demi’s birth announcement post was no doubt familiar to many of her fans as it resembled the same wording as when she announced Beau’s birth two years ago.
At the time, the new mum wrote, “Meet Beau Thomas Brooks! Coming in at 9lbs13.5oz, 21.5 inches tall… So far he loves his snoo, his hair being brushed and farting when everyone least expects it, he is his parents child. We are in SO much love!”
Prior to moving to the US, Demi dated her Home and Away co-star Alex Snow, who played her character’s one-time love interest Matt Page.
