His Gold-certified debut album, I Barely Know Her, co-produced by the iconic Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, The Replacements), garnered critical acclaim, with three singles simultaneously charting on the Official UK Album Chart and Billboard Hot 100.

This year, in a major shake-up, the awards will be heading to Manchester, famed for its deep heritage of music, with the likes of Oasis, Take That, The Stone Roses, Courteeners, Sarah Harding, Happy Mondays and Joy Division all hailing from the northern city.
