Former Made In Chelsea star Sophie Habboo has opened up about life after the birth of her first child back in December last year
New mum and former Made In Chelsea star Sophie Habboo has revealed the harsh reality of giving birth. Sophie, 31, gave birth to her son Ziggy, who she shares with her husband and former Made In Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing, back in December.
During an Instagram Q&A with fans, she revealed that she was losing her hair while going through post-partum. A fan recently asked her about her “must have” tips in order to deal with the impact on a woman’s body following pregnancy and this question prompted her candid admission.

She said: “I mean I’d love to know the answer too. My hairs falling out by the second. I mean I ate my placenta? Not sure if it did anything?”
Since leaving the E4 reality TV series, the couple have gone on to become one of the show’s most loved duos. And this may explain why Disney+ gave them their own three part docuseries titled Raising Chelsea. The documentary will give viewers even more of an insight into their lives since their wedding and the birth of their son Ziggy.
But it seems that the intrusion of the cameras had started to take its toll. During the social media Q&A she went on to admit: “I won’t lie I found it challenging at times! It was my first pregnancy and I was very anxious about everything and so to have cameras following you was full on at times.”
She added: ” I was also not myself, my hormones were everywhere. I found pregnancy hard at times, ngl. And even harder to admit that because everyone talks about how magical it is but the reality was for me, I was so up and down.”
She went on to explain that she was “soo up and down” as one minute she felt as though she was floating on “cloud 9, next I was a savage b****.”
Also, she revealed that was also battling crippling pain in her pelvic bone. She continued: ” So it’s quite scary to have a camera documenting you probably not at your best but it’s what we signed up for. We always promised that we would keep it real and my God we really did!”
She went on to say: “Obvs that was not all the time and we captured amazing moments and I loved the whole process and watching it back, it’s insane to have that time of my life documented.
However in a trailer of their reality TV show, it highlights a tense row between Sophie and Jamie where she describes his behaviour as unacceptable.
Jamie is seen standing by what looks like their bedroom door while Sophie is sat tearful on the bed. She is overheard saying: “But you just go behind my back, that’s so unacceptable.”
Speaking about the dynamic of their relationship, Jamie said in the clip: “The dynamic between Sophie and I, she’s the boss and I’m the intern.”
