Stacey Solomon has shared one of her favourite recent purchases for organising a busy home, and her Kindle Scribe has just been slashed by £110 with delivery before Christmas

If you’re on the lookout for some last minute Christmas gifts to buy before the big day, then we’ve spotted a brilliant deal that’s worth getting your hands on courtesy of Stacey Solomon. The presenter shared that she’s recently bought herself a brand new Amazon Kindle Scribe to help her keep her busy home organised, and it’ll still arrive before Christmas if you order now.

Regular Amazon shoppers can order today and have it delivered by Tuesday 23 December with free delivery, whilst Prime customers can have it delivered with next day delivery, meaning it can be on your doorstep by tomorrow. To make it even more enticing, the Kindle Scribe is currently on sale, too, slashed from £399.99 to £289.99, saving you £110.

Stacey said she’d been using the Amazon Kindle Scribe for everything, including books, planners, notes – even her list of ideas for the Elf on the Shelf antics she’s been doing with her family. Unlike a regular Kindle which only allows you to read, the Kindle Scribe lets you write on it too, so you can write full lists for yourself, highlight important pieces, and even annotate books in the margins.

It comes with a premium pen to make all your annotating and note taking easier, and it doesn’t need setting up or charging – you can just start using it to write. The Amazon Kindle Scribe has a built-in front-lit display that lets you read and write even when it’s dark or in blazing sunshine. The 10.2” glare-free screen gives you enough space to read and write without being too big and bulky either, so you can pop it in your bag while you’re travelling or on your commute.

If you want to swap from a Kindle to something else, the XPPen Magic Note Pad is also on sale at Amazon, down from £399.99 to £279.99. Meanwhile Argos has some fantastic savings on Apple iPads, including £100 off the 2025 version.

However the Amazon Kindle Scribe also has great reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “The “paper feel” when writing is satisfying. User friendly for document mark ups. Great for reading. A little heavy but you get used to it.”

Another wrote: “I bought the Jade 64g Jade version of this in the black Friday sale. I already have the 2022 black version and to be honest the software isn’t really any different. It looks much better though and just feels more premium. It arrived on time already set up for me. My nephew is now the happy owner of my old scribe. Writing on the scribe is a pleasure, and the improved screen makes it even more so. Very happy with my purchase.”

One of the main complaints from shoppers, though, is that the AI summarising tool isn’t yet available in the UK, whilst others found the annotating box too cluttered. One said: “Tablet is lovely to write on and good for taking notes. Annotating in text books is disappointing as the text box generated can’t be moved so it often makes the overall page look awkward and cluttered.vI had hoped to try out the advertised AI support but, as others have also discovered, this is not available in UK. Surely this is mis-selling at its finest. I now have the choice of returning the product or putting up with an inferior device whilst waiting for Amazon to rectify this issue.”

Another agreed: “While the Active Canvas is a useful tool, it’s not optional. Be aware that any annotations on docs, such as strikethroughs, arrows, etc, all get forced into the Active Canvas box, placing it on the side and often far away from where you need the annotation to be. Unfortunately, as I wanted it for annotating docs, I have returned it.”
