Sue Radford has revealed the secrets behind her impressive three-stone weight loss after shutting down speculation that she was using medication to aid her transformation

Sue Radford has opened up about her impressive weight loss. The TV star has impressed fans recently after shedding three stone, with many speculating she may have used jabs to aid her.

However, the mum-of-22 had furiously shut down these claims and insisted that her transformation is simply down to a health supplement. Sue, 50, admits that hitting half a century was a huge turning point for her, which made her cut out junk food from her life and prioritise her health and wellbeing. While some people use medication to aid weight loss, the likes of Ozempic are only licensed to treat diabetes symptoms and not for aiding weight loss.

But while many had speculated about the cause of her weight loss, others were intrigued to find out how they, too, could completely transform their lives. And it appears that it costs less than £30 to help people on their journey.

Taking to Instagram in view of the 535,000 followers the family boast on Instagram, Sue revealed that it was natural substances which had helped her. Sharing a snap of Vegavero’s Berberin tablets, she said: “Lots of you asking what I take, so here’s the link for you.”

The tablets, which cost just £24.99 on Amazon, are some of the highest concentration products, boasting 97 per cent berberine. Other ingredients include piperine, chromium and fermented black garlic, which all support berberine.

Berberine helps with weight loss by activating an enzyme named AMPK [AMP-activated protein kinase], which aids metabolism and enhances fat burning and energy. The listing for the tablets states: “Our Berberine product is free from additives such as magnesium stearate and vegan. In one bottle: 90 easy-to-swallow capsules. Recommended dosage: 1-2 capsules per day, depending on the dosage you are looking for! Note: During the ageing process of the garlic, the allicin content is reduced, ultimately eliminating the typical pungent garlic taste.”

And it’s not just Sue who the product has helped; there are thousands of positive reviews on the market site. “It dropped my levels from 6.6 to 5.1 in 3 months!!. Repeat customer here. It’s independently tested & for me, it’s working,” said one. A second penned: “Good quality product, better than other products previously purchased.”

“Great pricing easy to swallow,” commented a third. Speaking previously to the Mirror, Sue said: “I turned 50 last year and it was a big turning point. My weight had been creeping up, I was eating too many junk foods and snacks like graze boards in the evening and I wanted to do something about it. I’ve cut out all sugar, pasta, bread, snacks and junk. I’ve been going to the gym every day in the week and trying to be healthy.

“I have lost three stone since turning 50 last April and I feel amazing. I also feel so much better.” Reflecting on speculation she used jabs to shed her weight, Sue said: “I think because so many people are taking them now, they automatically assume you are – but no I haven’t.”

Elsewhere, Sue revealed that her daughter Ellie had battled Gilbert’s Syndrome, which causes the liver function to be too high and can cause people to lose weight. She explained that this had also put her off taking injections. “It was hard to see her daughter go through that, and there is just no way she would use jabs to lose weight after that,” she said, adding: “It wouldn’t really make sense after her daughter struggled with her own weight so much.”
