‘Survivor 50’ First Elimination Revealed! Show’s Early Boot Amid Premiere Leaves Everyone Stunned

Survivor 50 has been making headlines for its milestone season. The show is being labelled as intense, and fans have been on edge to know more about what’s to come. However, as the show debuted on February 25, 2026 (ET), the makers didn’t wait long to deliver the first shocker: a double elimination. Yes! You heard that right, not one but two contestants had to pack their bags and return home on the first day itself.

Survivor 50 makes a banging debut

The show’s largest cast ever, with 24 contestants, had hardly settled when two of them were sent packing. The show stars Season 1’s Jenna, to the show’s most recently crowned winner, Survivor 49’s Savannah. While there were cheers, smiles, and laughs as the cast offered their first thoughts and met their tribes, game faces quickly emerged, and some quickly said goodbye.

Soon after the Vatu tribe secured fire by winning the marooning challenge, the first big twist of the season came: each tribe sent one player to compete for the rest of their supplies, without knowing what exactly their task would be. Obviously, the competition became even more interesting when Ozzy Lusth and Benjamin Wade (Coach) stepped up, giving viewers a heated face-off between former adversaries that didn’t disappoint. While Coach emerged victorious when he grabbed the key first, it seems like he hurt his “honourable” reputation in the process.

The groups begin to form at Survivor 50 tribe houses

Back at the tribe camps, bonds began to form, and targets began to be painted. At the Vatu, previous Heroes vs Villains castmates, Colby Donaldson and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick clicked immediately. They seemed to have control after teaming up with another pair: Kyle and Geneieve. There were also some side alliances strengthening the group. Kyle and Quintavius “Q” Burdette seemed to trust each other, and despite initially calling Rizo “annoying as hell,” Colby soon enough warmed up to the newbie. 

Tiffany, Dee and Kamilla seemed to click on Kalo, but other tribe members had their eye on Dee, the winner of season 45. However, what caught viewers’ attention was the bond that formed when Coach let you wear one of his toe rings. On the other hand, on Cila, Jenna didn’t waste any time in naming Cirie Fields, who was the fifth-time returnee and The Traitors winner, as her prey. When Cirie failed to ace her part of the first immunity challenge, costing her tribe valuable time and ultimately leading to their loss, it seemed the target on her back was only growing bigger as tribal council neared.

Who said goodbye to Survivor 50?

Despite Jenna casting a vote for Cirie after she cost them time, task and a low-key tantrum, the rest of the tribe aligned in voting Jenna out. In a twisted turn of events, making her the first member of this all-star cast to ever play Survivor and also the first person out of the game in season 50. However, she wasn’t the only person who bade goodbye to Fiji early. An intense obstacle in the immunity challenge, which required the players to help each other climb a steep wall while covered in mud, led to Kyle injuring his ankle.

Despite working together to complete the challenge and win immunity, Probst and Dr Joe Rowles arrived at the Vatu camp to conduct further tests. The assessment revealed that Kyle had likely torn his Achilles’ tendon, which required him to be removed from the game despite Kyle’s pleas. When the news was delivered to his tribemates, many broke down in tears.
