Taylor Frankie Paul Refuses To Stay Offline Amid Domestic Assault Row, Fans Say, ‘Stare At The Wall’

It seems the spotlight on reality TV star, Taylor Frankie Paul, is not about to die anytime soon. For the unversed, Taylor was all set to star on the ABC dating series, The Bachelorette Season 22. While the show was scheduled to premiere on March 22, 2026, according to recent reports, ABC has officially axed Taylor’s season. This is because it was revealed she is in the middle of a domestic violence investigation involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

And, to make matters worse, a video published by TMZ on March 19, 2026, shows Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota. Despite her legal woes, Taylor has remained active online while her fans urge her to stay off her phone.

If you have been following Taylor Frankie Paul for some time, you might be aware that even before she became a reality star, Taylor Frankie Paul is an influencer. This is why, despite her legal woes stemming from domestic violence accusations, Taylor has continued to maintain her presence online. In fact, many think that to her, this is a job where she always needs to remain on the clock. At present, Taylor can often be seen reposting videos that support her. Sometimes she even uses her platform to uplift fellow reality star, Nick Viall.  

One thing is for sure: no matter what happens, Taylor isn’t planning to get off her phone anytime soon. This was evident in Taylor’s response to a TikTok user announcing a “Taylor Frankie Paul Get Off Your Phone Challenge.” In the March 21, 2026, video, the user asked why she kept commenting on stuff when she is probably going through one of the worst times of her life. They said:

“What are you commenting back to people and reposting TikToks? Her world literally just blew up. I would say her team should take her phone away from her, but no, she literally is reposting TikToks that are in support of her, and she’s commenting back to people on Instagram.”

To this, Taylor commented, “Want me to stare at the wall instead?” Well, the TikTok creator definitely did not shy away from her question and shot back with another video saying, “Well, yes, Taylor Frankie Paul. Yes, I would like you to stare at the wall instead. This is what I’m talking about.”

A few weeks back, TMZ first reported that Taylor had allegedly choked her ex-boyfriend, Dakota and ripped his necklace from his neck. The same outlet confirmed that police were called over the incident, and a report was also filed. Following this, footage of Taylor attacking Dakota with chairs surfaced, something which led to her arrest when it occurred in 2023. It is worth noting that in the clip, Taylor’s eldest child, whom she shares with ex-husband, Tate Paul, can be heard crying as the dispute unfolds.  

On the very same day that the video was released, Dakota filed for a protective order and was awarded temporary custody of his and Taylor’s 2-year-old son. If a report by People is to be believed, the next hearing on the same will be held on April 7, 2026. To mention, recently, Taylor’s representative addressed the situation in a statement to E! News and said: 

“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation. Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm. There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives.”
