Lewis Ehrlich, a Millennial dentist, fitness instructor and health coach, has put his four-level trophy home in South Coogee on the market.

It was left to local sources to reveal a price guide of $15 million, with James Ball and Edward Quince of Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty declining to comment on any aspect of the listing.

Ehrlich describes himself as the “honorary dentist” to Football Australia for the Matildas, Socceroos, A-League and national youth teams, on the website of the Sydney Holistic Dental Centre, a dental practice founded by his father Josh Ehrlich and uncle Ron.

The honorary role includes “educating players, management and medical staff about the best ways to maintain oral health for improved health and performance outcomes”, the practice’s website says.

Ehrlich bought the clifftop abode with uninterrupted views of Wedding Cake Island, North Bondi and Maroubra, for $15 million in 2024.

It appears Ehrlich is hoping to get the $15 million back he paid for the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house in 2024 from dentist Fadi Yassmin. Ehrlich would have paid stamp duty of about $980,000.

Ehrlich bought the clifftop abode with uninterrupted views of Wedding Cake Island, North Bondi and Maroubra as is, appearing to have made no renovations or cosmetic tweaks.

There is a 10-metre pool, outdoor kitchen, wine cellar, sauna and wellness zone, cinema and rooftop retreat.

Finance bigwig to offload $66 million mansion

Former Macquarie Group executive and James Packer confidant Ben Brazil and his partner Diana Saw, a former director of retirement village operator Aveo Group, have put their Vaucluse mansion on the market with a price guide of $60 million to $66 million, local sources have revealed.

Should $66 million be achieved, it would surpass the suburb’s house price record of $65,250,000 set in 2017, when hotel mogul Jerry Schwartz and his wife Debbie purchased a six-bedroom, six-bathroom abode from Singaporean tycoon Chio Kiat Ow.

It’s understood Brazil and Saw, who completed the brand-new build a few years ago, no longer have use for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home as they are living abroad.

They bought a five-bedroom, five-bathroom, Mediterranean-style knockdown on the site, with blue-framed French doors, for $16,126,000 in 2007 from David Mickler, former Yahoo! Asia director of sales, records show, and enlisted Woodward Architects to design a turnkey home. The new build, on about 885 square metres of beachfront, occupies three levels and comes with a pool, gardens and boat shed.

An industrial aesthetic is evident, with thick concrete slabs, movable glass walls, a sleek white palette and skylights.

There is a gas kitchen with a concealed butler’s pantry and entertainer’s terrace with views across Sydney Harbour to Mosman and North Head.

Brazil was a finance executive at Macquarie Group for nearly 11 years, was appointed to the Crown Resorts board by Packer in 2009, and is now a co-founder at FitzWalter Capital in London.

The debt-investment banker was Macquarie’s third-highest paid executive in 2016, with a $15 million total salary, including a $6.7 million bonus, according to The Australian Financial Review, and earned the nickname “Brains” from his peers.

Brazil asked his dad to exclude him from the $300 million-plus family fortune.

Lyn Brazil, a grazier tycoon and venture capitalist, explained to the AFR in 2016: “He said, ‘Don’t even put me in the will’. Ben says he doesn’t want any of it. He is determined to be his own man.”

Ken Jacobs of Forbes Global Properties declined to comment on any aspect of the listing when contacted by this masthead.

Records show Sullivan purchased the abode for $5.3 million in 2001 from commercial property magnate Robert Christie, and reimagined it into an eight-bedroom, six-bathroom estate with three separate living zones.

There is a main sandstone residence in a Victorian gothic style, a second dwelling with tennis court, and a third space with a gym, sauna, kitchenette and home office that overlooks the pool and spa.
