Selections based on a good track.

Race 1

5. She’s A Dame raced on the speed and held on well when a last start-third at Gosford. She’s been placed in three of four starts and only needs to maintain that form to be a leading contender again in this. 2. El Qasabi wasn’t far away here last time out and only needs to run up to that effort to be hard to hold out. 8. Alabama Charm has had two starts back from a spell and performed well in each of them. She was midfield in the latest race and can show up in this without surprising. 6. Action Not Words was down the track on debut at Gosford but could be thereabouts.

Race 2

2. Buckeye has been placed in four of seven starts. He was midfield when resuming at the Gold Coast and then ran third in a handy race at Warwick Farm when last produced. He is knocking on the door for a win. 3. Crusader Voyage has been placed in four of six starts and resumes here having contested the Spring Champion Stakes before being spelled. 1. Artistic Lady is on debut after two trials and ran second in the latest of them at Warwick Farm earlier this month.

Race 3

3. Charlina scored at this track after camping on the speed and coming clear. A repeat of that would have her winning again in this. 1. Just Awesome is talented and has performed well enough in two Gosford runs since resuming from a spell. 8. Andarna is on debut after three trials and has performed well in each of those hit-outs. She is set to run well on debut. 2. Ride The River is first-up from a spell and has shown enough talent in his career to be rated a chance in this.
How to play it: Charlina to win.

Race 4

12. Shirogane is on debut here and has had a couple of recent trials in preparation and wasn’t beaten far in either. She’s in a good stable and should be primed to run well. 11. Milk Foam hit the line well when a last-start third at Gosford and should get into the mix again with a repeat of that effort. 10. Fairway To Heaven was midfield on resumption at Warwick Farm and then won a trial at Rosehill leading into this event. She looks to have the ability to give this a shake. 2. Alabama Showdown debuted with a fourth at this track on debut and can be thereabouts with a repeat.
How to play it: Shirogane each way.

Race 5

4. Pompatus had a couple of quiet trials before resuming from a spell and hitting the line well to win at Newcastle. He looks to have ability and should take plenty of beating again. 3. Artie Steamer did everything right to score a last start win at Gosford in a small field and a repeat of that would have him right in the finish of this. 8. Sneaky Choice is ready to peak third-up from the inside gate. 9. Southern Sky can get into the minor money.
How to play it: Pompatus to win.

Race 6

1. Aligned has been a consistent type with two wins and four minor placings to his name from 11 starts. He resumed from a spell with a close-up third at Newcastle and then backed that up with a last-start win at Gosford when doing the job well. He’s drawn well here and can go on with the job. 4. Lone Artist resumes here for a new stable and was a Sunshine Coast winner two starts ago. 6. Pelosa was midfield at this track when resuming from a spell when beaten just over a length and another bold showing is on the cards. 7. How to play it: Aligned to win.

Race 7

She only needs to run up to that effort to be hard to hold out again. 6. Ausbred Hed’N’Tail won as favourite at Gosford on debut earlier in the month and another bold showing is on the cards. 5. Transgress won on debut at Wyong and resumed from a spell with a fourth at Gosford. He’s drawn the inside gate here and should run well. 4. Rivendell has had one start for a win at Wyong last August.
