Tottenham will move second in the Premier League should Thomas Frank’s side win at home to 13th-placed Aston Villa on Sunday.
Spurs are unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions and ended a run of two league draws with a 2-1 win at Leeds United on October 4.
The Villans have won their last four games across the top flight and the Europa League, beating Burnley 2-1 at home two weeks ago.

Tottenham lineup vs Aston Villa
On-loan Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani returns on the bench for Tottenham following a dead leg, but striker Dominic Solanke (ankle) is out, as is midfielder Yves Bissouma, who was injured on international duty with Mali.
“He’s progressing now,” Frank said of Solanke. “He’s still training on his own, so I don’t want to be too excited or too negative either way.
“I’m taking it day by day and week by week to see how quickly he progresses. Dom is a naturally fit player… [but] he basically hasn’t trained with the team since July.
“That’s not to say it will take three months to get up to pace. It will take a little bit of time to get up to pace. How long, I don’t know.
“It’s fair to say that [Kolo Muani] needs a little bit of time to get up to a full level.”
Defenders Radu Dragusin and Kota Takai and midfielders James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski are also sidelined.
Tottenham starting XI: Vicario, Pedro Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence, Palhinha, Bentancur, Kudus, Simons, Tel, Odobert
Tottenham substitutes: Kinsky, Danso, Byfield, Gray, Bergvall, Sarr, Richarlison, Johnson, Kolo Muani
Villa lineup vs Tottenham
Ollie Watkins returns on the bench for Villa, having missed England’s 5-0 win in Latvia on Tuesday with an injury the striker sustained during the Three Lions’ home victory over Wales five days earlier.
Centre-back Tyrone Mings had been a doubt and misses a third consecutive game.
Manager Unai Emery said England midfielder Morgan Rogers’ form is “getting better”. “He started [the season] a little bit like the team – not performing very well, not confident.
“In the last matches he played, maybe he’s not scoring, but he’s playing better. He’s feeling better [and] confident.
“Playing with the national team, [with] how they were performing collectively and individually… [he is taking] responsibility and being a protagonist, like he [has been in the past] in [our] starting 11.”
Aston Villa starting XI: Emi Martinez, Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, Lucas Digne, John McGinn, Amadou Onana, Boubacar Kamara, Morgan Rogers, Evann Guessand, Donyell Malen
Villa substitutes: Marco Bizot, Ian Maatsen, Victor Lindelof, Ross Barkley, Ollie Watkins, Jadon Sancho, Emi Buendia, Harvey Elliott, Lamare Bogarde
