A truck has become stuck under a bridge in Mount Lawley, leading to the cancellation of all trains from Perth to Midland, Ellenbrook and High Wycombe.
The incident took place about 1.30pm, with passengers waiting on trains from Perth station told there would likely be lengthy delays and that rail replacement buses would be put on.
Passengers were told trains would not be travelling past Claisebrook as there was a disruption between Perth and Bayswater.
“If you are aware of any bus services that will get you where you need to go, please use them,” train staff said.
“Replacement rail services buses are in the process of being organised.”
The platform in Perth is currently full as rush hour traffic ramps up for the end of the week, with the wet weather not helping the situation.
More to come.
