OSAKA, Mar 25 (News On Japan) –
Two men were arrested and indicted after allegedly racking up nearly 950,000 yen in unpaid food and drink charges at a girls bar in Suita, Osaka, while each had only a small amount of cash in their possession.

According to investigators, Ryusei Tamura, 24, and Shion Asano, 31, visited the establishment in January and ordered large quantities of alcohol, including champagne priced at around 200,000 yen per bottle, without any intention or ability to pay.
The pair reportedly ordered multiple bottles at once, leading staff to believe they had sufficient funds. “They even ordered two bottles of champagne at the same time, so we assumed they had money,” the bar’s manager said, adding that the financial damage was “extremely significant.”
Police said both suspects admitted to the charges, stating they “couldn’t resist wanting to eat and drink in a place with women.”
