Two people taken to hospital after alleged assault at leagues club

Two people have been taken to hospital following an alleged assault at Easts Leagues Club at Coorparoo, in Brisbane’s inner south.

The alleged serious assault occurred about 5.15pm at the venue on Main Avenue, and involved “multiple people” according to police.

A third person is now in police custody.

“A crime scene has been declared at the complex, however there is no ongoing danger to the public,” police said.
