The story of Valathu Vashathe Kallan revolves around two main characters, CI ‘Antony Xavier’ (played by Biju Menon) and ‘Samuel Joseph’ (played by Joju George). ‘Antony’ is a corrupt police officer who has a tumultuous personal life. His son hates him, but despite this, ‘Antony’ is trying his best to work on their strained bonding. On the other hand, ‘Samuel Joseph’ leads a happy life with his wife, ‘Theresa Samuel’ (played by Lena) and their only daughter, ‘Irene Samuel’.

However, ‘Samuel Joseph’s’ world goes upside down when ‘Irene’ goes missing. ‘Antony’ takes up the case, but ‘Joseph’ grows suspicious by seeing the way the case is being handled. Later, ‘Irene’ is found dead. This tragedy pushed ‘Joseph’ to take up the matter in his own hands. He kidnaps ‘Antony’s’ son to uncover the truth behind his daughter’s death. ‘Antony’ has to reach the spot where his son has been hidden and needs to confess the crime.
