Victoria Beckham has been directly asked about Rebecca Loos alleged affair with her husband David Beckham. The Spice Girl was quizzed in a new bombshell interview.

Rebecca has claimed she and David had a “steamy affair” behind Victoria’s back, in one of the most talked about celebrity scandals of the 2000s. She said they had a four-month fling in 2004 when she worked as the footballer’s PA and translator.

At the time, David had moved for Madrid for his career while Victoria remained at home in the UK. David has long dismissed the allegations as “ludicrous” and the pair touched on the scandal in his Netflix series, Beckham.

However, now Victoria has been quizzed about the allegations in a no-holds barred chat on the Call Her Daddy podcast. Host Alex Cooper asked: “You’ve dealt with specualtions throughout your whole career about your marriage.

“I know David touched on this in the documentary. Can you just explain how you and David handled this?”

In response, Victoria has now said: “Do you know… we’ve had so much thrown at us and we were talking about it because we’ve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and by the way, people said it wouldn’t work…26 years. We’ve had so much thrown at us and we’ve always just been there together and just ridden the damn storm.”

However, it seemed she didn’t want to stay on the topic for long as she then mentioned her eating disorder. Victoria had bravely discussed her experience for the first time on her own Netflix show.

Rebecca gave several interviews after her initial explosive allegations broke in 2004. In a sit down with Sky, she claimed her chemistry with David had been off the charts and that they shared the same sense of humour.

Addressing his marriage, she said it appeared David missed his wife and was ‘lonely’ in Spain, and Rebecca insisted she had no intention of breaking up their marriage. When asked about her thoughts on Victoria, she had one demand – no sympathy.

“I don’t expect any sympathy from her whatsoever,” she said. “I think it’s bad enough for me to do what I have done without me expecting any words of sympathy.

“I really hope that they get through it. I think the problems were in their marriage long before I came into the picture. I in no way intended to break up their marriage, especially when there are young children involved. I hope they stay together.”

Last year, Rebecca extended an olive branch to Victoria. “The funny thing is, I got the s***, Victoria [Beckham] got the s***, David f****** never got any s***,” she told James English on his Anything Goes With podcast.

“That’s the world we live in. That made me want to keep [saying] ‘hello, this is unfair’.” In David’s TV series, he sat down with Victoria to talk about the difficult time in their lives.

He said: “There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.” Victoria added: “One hundred percent. It was the hardest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us.”
