Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have completed their Varmala ceremony, marking one of the most special moments of their wedding celebrations.
According to sources close to the festivities, the exchange of garlands turned into the most emotional part of the evening. As Vijay and Rashmika placed the Varmala around each other’s necks, both were visibly teary-eyed.
The source said, “The varmala was the most emotional moment of the wedding. As Rashmika and Vijay exchanged garlands, both of them got teary-eyed as it truly meant everything to them. There were happy tears, overwhelming joy, and so much love amongst friends and family.”

Meanwhile, reports also suggest that Rashmika dedicated a special dance performance to Vijay during their Sangeet night. The actress danced on the song Angaaron from her 2024 hit film Pushpa 2: The Rule, co-starring Allu Arjun.

According to a report in News18, the dance performance visibly moved Vijay. The couple also arrived at the venue hand in hand, making a striking entry. The space was decorated with large banners and posters featuring their photographs. In a warm gesture, Vijay’s mother also gifted Rashmika traditional heirloom bangles.

After their wedding in Udaipur today, February 26, they will hold a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4.

Several industry colleagues and friends of the couple are in Udaipur for the wedding, including Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ashika Ranganath, Eesha Rebba and stylist Shravya Varma.

The couple had a private relationship for a long time before they finally decided to make things public. Earlier this week, they confirmed their marriage with the statement, “Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves—you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today – with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it – ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’.”
