According to TMZ, Doug Martin died suddenly on Saturday morning, October 18. But the cause of death remains unconfirmed. The outlet first broke the news, later followed by a statement from his family to the Tampa Bay Times. Apart from confirming his death, they offered no details about what led to his death. As per multiple reports, including from Bleacher Report, no signs of prior health issues were mentioned, adding to the mystery surrounding his sudden passing. Meanwhile, his family’s statement read:

“It is with great sadness to I inform you all that Doug Martin passed away Saturday morning. The cause of death is currently unconfirmed. Please respect our privacy at this time.”
