Devonta Lee began his collegiate career at LSU in 2019. He first joined the Tigers during a historic season. Eventually, he became a part of the team that captured the 2019 national championship. The achievement was one of the highlights of Devonta’s football journey. After playing for three seasons, he had 11 receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown. Later, he went to Louisiana Tech, where he appeared in three games across two seasons before and after his initial cancer diagnosis. Overall in his college career, he had recorded 13 receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown. Subsequently, LSU Football and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have honoured him after his death.
