Paul Thomas Anderson and his new Oscar statues are going to have the house to themselves quite a bit from April through June this year.

“Oh, Mary!” recently announced that Maya Rudolph — PTA’s long-time partner — will inhabit the hit Broadway comedy’s lead role opposite Simu Liu from April 28 through June 20 at the Lyceum Theatre.

The former “SNL” cast member follows in the footsteps of show creator Cole Escola, “GLOW” star Betty Gilpin, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” ham Tituss Burgess, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner Jinkx Monsoon, “30 Rock” icon Jane Krakowski and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” legend John Cameron Mitchell who all played the titular Mary before her.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of being Cole Escola,” Rudolph said in a statement. “Oh, Mary! is the funniest play I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of plays, you’d be surprised. It’s such an honor to play the role of Mary, especially after so many iconic Marys have come before me. So making my Broadway debut in the role of a lifetime—as a miserable, suffocated, alcoholic woman—is a real dream come true.”

If you’d like to see the vocally-gifted comedienne bring her own unique spin to the role, tickets are available for each and every “Oh, Mary!” show that Rudolph is set to perform in.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one show was $104 including fees on StubHub for the June 17 show at 3 p.m.

Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $119 to $252 including fees over the course of Rudolph’s run.

In the event you’ve never seen the rip-roaring comedy, “Oh, Mary!” tells the story of the Lincolns (Abraham and Mary, that is) in the days leading up to the President’s assassination where the First Lady becomes a “madcap, cabaret-obsessed alcoholic.”

“What elevates “Oh, Mary!” from a hilarious and raunchy skit to an unexpectedly juicy yarn, though, is Escola’s oddly suspenseful plot. Multiple revelations get shocked gasps in this laugh-riot about that ol’ boozehound Mary Todd Lincoln,” The Post’s theater critic Johnny Oleksinski raved in a glowing four-star review of the 80-minute comedy from July 2024.
