Sorry, Blowfish.
Darius Rucker recently announced he’s striking out on a solo run from June through August 2026 that he’s dubbed the ‘Songs Of Summer Tour.’
While out and about, the ’90s alt-rocker/’00s country crooner will headline at arenas, amphitheaters, casinos, pavilions, performing arts centers and festivals all over North America with special guests Old Crow Medicine Show, Lauren Alaina, Robert Randolph, Evan Honer, George Birge and more joining him on select dates.
That includes a trio of gigs in New York and New Jersey. They’re scheduled to take place at:
Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center
Canandaigua, NY
Saturday, June 6
Bethel Woods Center For The Arts
Bethel, NY
Thursday, June 11
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
Atlantic City, NJ
Friday, June 12
If you’d like to see him live, tickets are available for all ‘Songs Of Summer Tour’ concerts as of today.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one gig was $49 including fees on StubHub.
In the event you’re hoping on catching the former Hootie and The Blowfish frontman in NY or NJ, prices start at $55 including fees for his Tri-state shows.
“When I think of the concerts I love attending, it’s the people, the hits and the hot summer air… The Songs of Summer Tour in a lot of ways is my nod to being in that moment together!” Rucker, 59, shared via Instagram.
While we can’t say for certain what Rucker will take the stage come summer time, records at Set List FM showed that he performed Hootie hits (“Only Wanna Be With You,” “Let Her Cry” and “Hold My Hand”) along with a number of plucky country ditties at his most recent concert in Miami Beach, FL on Jan. 18, 2026.
“…not only is he a fantastic entertainer, but his voice live is one of the best I have ever heard,” Country Lowdown wrote about a May 2024 concert of Rucker’s in London.
“From the moment he came on stage to the moment he stepped off, his voice showcased his love for performing and his music, and sounded just like it did coming through my headphones!”

Darius Rucker new music
On Oct. 6, 2023, Rucker released his eighth solo album “Carolyn’s Boy.”
The feel-good record features laid-back singalongs (“Beers And Sunshine,” “7 Days,” “Have A Good Time”), honky-tonk hoedowns (“In This Together,” “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” “Same Beer Different Problem”) and winsome ballads (“Never Been Over,” “Ol’ Church Hymn,” “Sara”) all with Rucker’s trademark bass-y vocals over delicate guitar. In short, the album is a delightful trifle.
