The former quarterback was arrested after he reportedly rear-ended another vehicle while intoxicated and then offered the other driver USD 2,000 to avoid involving police and attempted to flee the scene. Jay even refused to do a sobriety test, and authorities reportedly found a rifle and a loaded pistol in his vehicle. NBC reported that, after his arrest, Jay was released on a USD 5,000 bond. What led to the divorce between Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari? 

Jay Cutler’s split from Kristin Cavallari’s divorce became a widely discussed subject in 2020. Initially, court documents cited ‘marital misconduct’ and ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason behind their split. But, later, both parties clarified that their separation was the result of them growing apart after years of togetherness. Kristin told People that their lives were heading in different directions. Inside sources revealed that Jay’s lack of motivation after retiring from professional football contributed to the breakup.

However, on a recent episode of his Take It Outside podcast, Jay Cutler addressed the claims made by Kristin about their divorce settlement. He countered her claims of not getting a single penny after their split and revealed that she received adequate financial support. Jay pointed out that he was ‘irresponsible’ and ‘reckless’ to say that there was ‘zero dollars split’ between them. He pointed towards the divorce decree and claimed it had clearly outlined the division of their assets. In his words:

“It’s insane. It’s completely false, completely untrue. It is, it just is. I’ve got a divorce decree. I’ve got something that the judge signs, it’s like, 67 pages, it says the number breakdown.”

Jay Cutler has found new love in Samantha Robertson 

After his divorce, Jay Cutler confirmed that he was in a relationship with Samantha Robertson. She is an Australian hunter and aspiring actress. Jay and Samatha made their relationship and their romance public in September 2023 with photos from a Paris wedding. However, some sources revealed that they had met years earlier through mutual friends. Samantha is also a mother of two daughters from her previous marriage to Justin Timberlake’s creative director, Trace Ayala. Her daughters have reportedly met Cutler’s three kids, Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor.
