Covering training camp can be tricky.
There is an insatiable appetite for information on teams during camp. Fans are starved for any little nugget or piece of information. That is why people now post play-by-play of training camp practices. It is moronic, but people do it because there is an audience.
It is also difficult to be negative during camp. Everyone is 0-0 and has hope. Fans don’t really want to hear about what’s wrong with the team. They are more interested in reasons to believe. It gets tricky to keep an objective eye on the practices and figure out what the team’s prospects actually are.
Take the Jets.
