The viral trainspotter is back with a brand new series called Francis Bourgeois and Chris Harris: We Saved a Train
Francis Bourgeois is making his TV comeback and fans are keen to know more about the viral trainspotter’s personal life.
The Gen Z star, whose real name is Luke Nicolson, is teaming up with former Top Gear presenter Chris Harris for a new show, starting tonight (April 7) at 9pm.
Titled Francis Bourgeois and Chris Harris: We Saved a Train, it documents the duo as they attempt to restore a train and bring it back to service, with help from volunteers.
Getting to revive a train is Francis’ lifelong dream. He explained before the series premiere: “Getting the chance to restore a locomotive is something I have always dreamt about, so the opportunity to actually make it happen, and document the journey, is so exciting. I cannot wait to start this alongside Chris.”
As fans prepare to tune in to the new QUEST show, here’s everything you need to know about Francis’ long-term romance.
Who is Francis Bourgeois’ girlfriend?
Francis’ long-term girlfriend is Amy Linkin-Chandler, whom he started dating publicly in 2018. The pair reportedly met on a dating site in their late teens and stayed together throughout university.
They made their red carpet debut at the NME awards back in 2022, and have since attended plenty of industry events together. According to Francis’ YouTube Channel, the pair celebrated their five-year anniversary in September 2024.
Speaking of their now six-year relationship, Francis told The Times: “We’re very emotionally in tune with one another. We are each other’s comfort teddy bears.”
Amy doesn’t have the same social media fame as Francis, although she boasts an impressive 7,000 Instagram followers. She is a freelance creative assistant, according to her LinkedIn. She has worked with major brands including Gucci and Soho House.
She studied Fashion Communication with Business Studies at the University of Brighton, graduating in 2023 with a First Class degree.
The university graduate says she “works predominantly” on projects with Francis Bourgeois Limited, which means she works closely with her boyfriend.
The couple often share sweet pictures on social media, with Francis even posting their dates for others to draw inspiration from.
Francis Bourgeois and Chris Harris: We Saved a Train will be available to watch on QUEST from April 7 at 9pm. New episodes will air weekly.
