According to reports, Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, was born in 1978 and raised in Los Angeles. For his education, he studied economics at the University of Redlands in California. Following this, he went on to pursue law from the esteemed Stanford Law School. During his time there, John was reportedly a member of the Order of the Coif honour society. After his graduation, according to sources, he joined the California Bar in the Northern District of California.  

John Miller is an established businessman and a CEO  

While Jennifer Garner is an accomplished actress, her boyfriend, John Miller, has made a name for himself in business circles as an established entrepreneur. For the unversed, he serves as the chairman of a technology company called CaliGroup. As you might have already guessed by the name, this is the same company which owns the CaliBurger restaurant chain. Additionally, the company is known to invest in multiple tech ventures. It is worth noting that John Miller is also the CEO of CaliGroup’s portfolio company, PopID. 

Now, as the chairman of CaliGroup, John Millar has led his fair share of innovations for the company. For instance, one of the most unique inventions that they developed with the use of cutting-edge technology includes Flippy, a burger-flipping robot. Flippy has been specifically designed to improve efficiency in the kitchen. A quick look at the company’s website reveals that it focuses on using technology to transform the restaurant and retail industries. Interestingly, during an interview in 2017, John Miller jokingly said that they “really think of themselves as a technology company that happens to sell cheeseburgers.”  

To mention, John Miller has been in the business world long before his involvement with CaliGroup. According to reports, back in 2004, John joined Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals as its Vice President of Intellectual Property. Bearing in mind that he comes from a background in law and economics, John Miller also co-founded NanoAdvisors, which is a consulting firm whose main focus is to bridge the gap between nanotechnology researchers and corporate, legal and financial institutions.

While you might think John Miller is known only for his business ventures, in reality, he is also a published author. Most of his contributions are in the nanotechnology field. Notably, in 2004, John Miller co-authored The Handbook of Nanotechnology Business, Policy and Intellectual Property Law. According to People, the book gives readers a comprehensive analysis of the commercial challenges as well as the legal considerations of nanotechnology. Apart from the book, John has published a handful of articles on legal and policy issues in the nanotechnology field. It is worth noting that many of his works have been featured in Nanotechnology Law & Business, where John previously served as managing director.  

John Miller was previously married to a violinist 

Many might not be aware, but before John Miller started dating Jennifer Garner, he was married to Carolina Campbell. If reports are believed to be true, she has performed with some pretty recognisable faces like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and Sting. John and Caroline tied the knot more than a decade ago in 2005. In their time together, they welcomed two children; however, they soon divorced in 2011.
