Ryan Garcia is one of the most well-known American professional boxers. He took up boxing from a very young age, when he was only seven years old. At 17, he turned professional, winning his first match by TKO against Edgar Meza in June 2016. Soon after this, Ryan signed with Golden Boy Promotions in November of the same year. As he continued to climb up the ranks, in January 2021, Ryan Garcia had the opportunity to face Olympic gold medalist, Luke Campbell for the interim World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight title. Ryan won the title after a 7-round fight. Now, fans of the boxer are eagerly waiting for February 21, 2026, to arrive, when they will be in for an exhilarating showdown between Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios.

For the unversed, Ryan will be challenging Mario for the WBC welterweight world title at the iconic T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. However, Ryan recently ran into trouble when the WBC issued a USD 5,000 fine to both the boxer and his team. This is because Ryan failed to meet the mandatory 14-day weight-check submission deadline set for February 7, 2026 (ET). Ryan Garcia ultimately provided video evidence that he was within the permitted weight limit. With Ryan’s professional life being in the spotlight just days ahead of his welterweight title match with Mario Barrios, some fans have also begun to wonder about his personal life. Most of Ryan Garcia’s fans know he is a proud Mexican, especially since he often carries a Mexican flag into the boxing ring. Similarly, his wife, Andrea Celina, is also of Mexican background. A quick look through her social media reveals that she enjoys making a number of Mexican recipes and working on her Spanish fluency. 

It is worth noting that in 2023, Andrea Celina shared that she also has an Italian heritage. At the time, she posted a sweet video on TikTok featuring her grandfather, whom she calls “Nonno”, with the duo making pizza together.

In April of the same year, posted pictures of herself from her trip to Las Vegas. Just a year before this, Andrea posted a photo of herself when she was travelling internationally, in Rome. In addition, while Andrea and Ryan were still together, she would share pictures from their fun vacations. In 2021, the duo spent time in Hawaii. When Andrea posted a picture of them posing with a surfboard, Ryan took to the comments and wrote, “In love with you,” followed by a ring and red heart emoji.

In December 2020, Andrea Celina and Ryan Garcia were blessed with their first child. The couple lovingly named their daughter, Bela. Since her birth, Andrea has never shied away from showing her daughter on social media. For instance, she posted an adorable picture of herself and Bela enjoying themselves in the ocean during a vacation. The proud mom also shared a funny video on TikTok where the duo can be seen dancing. The video successfully captured viewers’ hearts.  

A few years later, in December 2023, Ryan Garcia and Andrea Celina welcomed their second child, a son, Henry. After his birth, Ryan took to his social media and posted a video of himself calling Henry. In the caption, he wrote: 

“This is what matters in life. This is a huge reason why I fight and support protecting the kids. This is My son KING HENRY.”

While Ryan Garcia and Andrea Celina’s relationship seemed to be going strong on the outside, especially with the birth of their second child, Henry. The duo left fans shocked when they announced they had decided to divorce. What made it more shocking was that the announcement came only a few weeks after Henry was born, in January 2024. It is worth noting that, according to the legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports at the time, Ryan Garcia and Andrea seem to have tied the knot on January 14, 2021. Just a few hours after Ryan shared the first picture of Henry with the world, he took to his Instagram Stories and wrote: 

“As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce. As we move forward, my focus remains on the health and well-being of our two beautiful kids…I believe our devotion to our children is rock solid, and I trust that together, we will continue to provide them with the love, support, and stability they deserve.” 

However, in July 31, 2024, Ryan backtracked on his divorce from Andrea. According to information obtained by TMZ, the boxer urged the Los Angeles court to stop the divorce proceddings, and later the case was officially dismissed. To mention, neither Ryan nor Andrea has issued a statement about their reconciliation.

While Andrea doesn’t seem to post much, with only 21 posts so far, she has still managed to amass over 250,000 followers. On her grid, she mostly posts her outfit photos and sometimes adorable moments with her daughter, Bela. On TikTok, Andrea has over 45,000 followers. Here, she tends to share lifestyle and travel blogs. Some of the videos also contain footage of her daughter.
