The makers of Spirit yesterday unveiled a sound story from the Prabhas starrer. It was a special treat for his fans on the Rebel Star’s birthday. However, this has led to a fan war on social media. The title card of the announcement video introduced him as India’s Biggest Superstar. This did not sit well with a lot of netizens, especially Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s fans.

Prabhas undoubtedly enjoys a pan-India stardom and has proved that he can pull crowds to the theatre. He starred in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise which grossed over Rs 2400 crore worldwide. His recent films Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD also earned well at the box office, leading to his fans calling him the biggest superstar.

Meanwhile, Prabhas will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit along with Triptii Dimri and Vivek Oberoi. Besides this, he also has the sequels of Kalki and Salaar in the pipeline, as well as the horror-comedy The RajaSaab.
