Following pictures of Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks kissing at a rooftop bar in London, the rumour mill is in overdrive about the true nature of the Kiss FM presenters’ relationship.
Now it has been alleged that the ‘last thing’ popular TV presenter Olivia, 34, wants is anything to tarnish her ‘golden girl’ image as her TV star continues to rise – but one publication is claiming the ‘narrative’ being put forward is nowhere near the truth.
The Daily Mail reported that they met Olivia last Thursday, just over 24 hours before pictures emerged of her and former TOWIE star Pete kissing over drinks at Flute Bar in Soho on Friday night.

The presenter, who recently announced her split from husband, footballer Bradley Dick – moving out of their shared home and into her own apartment – was pictured cosying up to her close friend, who had been supporting Olivia since her painful split, at the bar.
According to a source in the Sun, when they smooched the pair were even cheered on by a group of friends who were watching on.
They claimed that the romance had only begun a few weeks ago – with ‘no overlaps’ and that Pete, who they said had put ‘a mile back on Olivia’s face’ had been a source of support for her during a heartbreaking time.
But the Mail now claims that when they met Olivia on Thursday she failed to share the news of her new relationship with Pete, 37 – claiming coyly when asked if he was her boyfriend that ‘he’d like to be’, and adding, “I’m just not sure though. We are really good friends, he’s like the male version of me which is why our banter works so well on the radio show.”
The newspaper also claimed that Olivia was concerned during the interview about Pete’s past history with women. He has been widely seen as a ladies’ man in the past, having dated a host of women including Maura Higgins, who Olivia previously claimed had ‘copied’ her career.
The publication claimed Olivia told them, “I know everything about Pete and the other women”, before bursting out laughing – claiming that her pr is not keen on her now dating Pete.
But the Mail shared their doubts about the ‘narrative’ that Olivia and Pete were ‘such a new couple’ and she was still considering whether she wanted to be in a relationship with him, finally maintaining, “I’m afraid Olivia has pulled the wool over the eyes of too many people – most of all her fans.”
Rumours about Olivia and Pete have abounded since a work trip together to Ibiza last summer, in which she was pictured getting cosy with Pete on a yacht- much to the reported annoyance of Bradley at the time. And they were seen deep in conversation at February’s BRIT Awards in Manchester.
Olivia and Pete have famously enjoyed a close and supportive friendship. However, now sources say the former Love Islander is “smitten” with the reality star, as they told Closer: “Olivia has always been drawn to Pete and carried a torch for him. If she wasn’t with him herself, she didn’t want anyone else to have him”.
Talking of their secret romance unfolding they added: “Olivia has fallen big time, she’s totally smitten with Pete. She’s always liked him – everyone can see the connection.”
