A man and a woman have been found dead on a regional Victorian property more than 140km from Melbourne.
Police said emergency services had been called to a property on McGraths Track in Hernes Oak, near Yallourn in the Latrobe Valley, just after midday on Monday, where they found a 47-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man dead inside a home.
The circumstances surrounding the pair’s death are yet to be determined, but police said they believe both people were known to each other.
“At this stage, investigators are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing,” police said.
