وأفادت صحيفة “تايمز أوف إنديا” نقلًا عن مفوض الإغاثة وإدارة الكوارث بالولاية هريشيكيش بهاسكار ياشودا، أن الأمطار التي هطلت خلال الفترة من 25 إلى 27 سبتمبر تسببت في فيضانات وأضرار واسعة النطاق.
وسجلت الولاية هطول 66.5 مليمترًا من الأمطار خلال 48 ساعة، بزيادة بلغت 775 % عن المعدل الطبيعي.
