وأوضحت المنظمة أن إجمالي الحالات المسجلة منذ بداية العام وحتى 31 مايو، بلغ 114 ألفًا و829 إصابة و1318 وفاة في 23 دولة، مشيرة إلى أن النزاعات، والنزوح، والكوارث الطبيعية، وتغير المناخ لا تزال من أبرز العوامل التي تعقد جهود السيطرة على تفشي الكوليرا عالميًا.
