تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة التي اجتاحت أجزاءً من غرب اليابان أمس، في حدوث فيضانات مع اقتراب عاصفتين استوائيتين أضافتا مزيدًا من الأمطار إلى الأمطار الموسمية التي تسقط على البلاد.
وأوضحت وكالة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية أن العاصفة ميكهالا كانت قبالة الساحل الغربي لجزيرة أمامي النائية بجنوب اليابان حتى وقت متأخر من بعد ظهر أمس الجمعة وكانت تتجه شمال شرق البلاد، في حين أن العاصفة الأخرى “هيجوس” كانت تتحرك في مكان قريب ومن المتوقع أن تصل العاصفتان إلى منطقة طوكيو اليوم مع التسبب في هطول أمطار غزيرة.

وأصدرت السلطات اليابانية تحذيرًا من الفيضانات في أجزاء من كيوتو وأوساكا ومناطق أخرى في غرب اليابان.
وأفادت وكالة إدارة الحرائق والكوارث اليابانية أن أكثر من 30 منزلًا غمرتها المياه في نارا وهيروشيما أمس، وعطلت الأمطار الغزيرة بعض رحلات القطارات والرحلات الجوية في المنطقة.
