أعلن المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الدفاع الكويتية العقيد الركن سعود عبدالعزيز العطوان، أن القوات المسلحة رصدت فجر اليوم عدد (2) صاروخ باليستي معادٍ داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي.
وأوضح أنه تم اعتراض الصاروخين والتعامل معهما وفق الإجراءات العملياتية المعتمدة، مؤكداً عدم تسجيل أي أضرار مادية أو إصابات بشرية جراء الحادثة.
وأكدت القوات المسلحة الكويتية استمرارها في أداء مهامها وواجباتها بكفاءة واقتدار، مع رفع مستوى الجاهزية والاستعداد لحماية أمن الوطن وسلامة المواطنين والمقيمين.
