وقالت لجنة طوارئ الخريف في وزارة الصحة السودانية، إن الأمطار أثرت على 3 ولايات، وأسفرت عن حالتي وفاة سُجلتا في ولاية غرب كردفان، إضافة إلى تضرر 174 شخصًا.
وذكرت اللجنة أن عيادات الطوارئ المدعومة من منظمة الصحة العالمية أصبحت جاهزة لتقديم الخدمات، مؤكدةً استعداد المستشفيات لاستقبال أي حالات طارئة خلال موسم الأمطار.
